Short Circuit Cancer's 6km relay

This weekend, Brent Collier will be undertaking his 4th endurance cycle for his charity bike relay “Short Circuit Cancer”, along with many families, friends and cooperates.

For years, Brent dreamed of creating an endurance event that would donate 100% of all money raised to the Cancer Council. He was motivated not just by his personal struggle with brain cancer, but also by his love for every other person suffering from cancer as well. Pretty soon his dream became a reality, and now after raising over $100,000 dollars in their first 3 years, they are looking to double the amount in 2014.

This year’s theme is “WHY do you ride?” because we have all been affected by cancer in one way or another. It’s a 6 km ride, through the Royal National Park in Sydney and the charity welcomes people from all ages and competency levels

But Brent and his small team of 6 need your help! So Short Circuit Cancer can continue to grow as a charity organization, and to give everyone the chance to have a go, the team needs as many donations as they can. So come along to the Short Circuit Cancer ride on Saturday to join in on the race or simply to spectate!
